Dr. Sadhana Ravishankar, CONSERVE Co-Project Director at The University of Arizona, is part of a team of seven institutions that received a grant from U.S. Department of Agriculture NIFA to produce safer melons that do not harbor harmful bacteria while also improving smell and taste of the fruit.
